Three Faiths Forum Middle East

PROGRAMMES:

1) Young Peoples Programme

The Young People’s Programme brings University-age Jews, Christians and Muslims together for faith-based encounters. Our partners for this programme are:

TRUST EMUN, Hebrew University, Hartman Institute, Hand in Hand, Leo Baeck Institute (Haifa) and The Artful Path. For details on specific ongoing programmes please contact the director: miriam@threefaithsforum.org.uk

2) Hospitals Programme

The text session of 'Healing and Suffering' created especially for Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem served as a pilot for running sessions for nursing and medical students in hospitals around the country. March 2009 will see workshops expanding to Kaplan Hospital in Rechovot, and Herzog Hospital in Jerusalem. Our partners for this programme are: Hadassah Hospital (Jerusalem), Herzog Hospital (Jerusalem) and  Kaplan Hospital (Rechovot).

3) New Models for Existing Groups Programme

This part of our work takes into account the many and varied partnerships that 3FFME has created. Additionally, the various interfaith groups that currently exist often suffer from 'what  next' syndrome, and while bringing new people together is crucial, it is simultaneously crucial that those who already make the effort to come together are able to try out different models of interaction to enrichen and enliven existing dialogue. Our partners for this programme are: Interfaith Encounter Association and the Reut-Sadaqa Jerusalem Interfaith Group (English speaking group).

The Three Faiths Forum Middle East was launched in June 2008 at the Hebrew University. If you are interested in funding the project, volunteering for the project, or joining activities, please contact the programme director Miriam Feldmann Kaye: miriam@threefaithsforum.org.uk / 00972 52 707 5203
