Stephen Shashoua - Director
Born in Canada, of Iraqi-Jewish descent, Stephen has been involved in communal and voluntary organisations all his life.
• Studied Journalism, Anthropology, Teaching and English Literature
• Worked internationally with students (all ages, cultures and abilities)
Freeman of the City of London and fellow of the Royal Society of Arts
• Co-Founder of Iraq in Common.

Rachel Heilbron - Programme Director
Rachel is passionate about engaging people in challenging discussion about values and identity, subjects she specialised in during her MA in Culture, Language and Identity in Education.
• Experience is in informal and extra-curricular programmes (UK and South Africa).
• Worked in a variety of social justice and cultural organisations including The British Library, The Jewish Council for Racial Equality and Save the Children UK.

Daniella Shaw Gabay - Mentoring Project Manager
Daniella is delighted to be combining her expertise in student affairs with her passion for interfaith and political engagement through the mentoring programmes.
• Minorities Officer at Leeds University (convened the Interfaith Forum and anti-racism campaigns)
• Worked on grass roots Muslim-Jewish initiatives
• Freelance consultant for small and emerging NGOs (faith and community relations)

Rayyan Mirza – Project Officer: Mentoring
Rayyan administers and organises events for our student mentoring programmes, Undergraduate ParliaMentors and DocuMentors.
• Studied Politics and Economics at Goldsmiths, University of London
• Alumni of the inaugural Undergraduate ParliaMentors programme in 2007-8
• Worked at political organisations including the Institute for Public Policy Research, the Greater London Authority, the Local Government Information Unit and the Open Rights Group
• Currently studying part-time for a MA in Political Campaigning at City University London

Sana Saleem - Education Officer
Sana Saleem - Education Officer Sana is responsible for liaising with faith and state schools, especially Muslim schools.
• Grew up in East London
• Studied Psychology at University College, London
• Has volunteered with community based organisations including Saneline, the Muslim Youth Helpline, Conflict and Change and muslimyouth.net

Debbie Danon - Education Officer
Debbie liaises with state schools and Jewish faith schools, as well as youth groups.
• Born in South London to Turkish-Jewish parents.
• Read Theology at Cambridge Divinity Faculty
• While studying was president of the Jewish Society, facilitated the Muslim-Jewish Womens' (MoJoW) Dialogue Group, ran a "Hin-Jew" dance class, and presented the radio show, "Kol Cambridge."
• Was awarded a Rajiv Gandhi scholarship to visit India in 2007.

Sarah Hulme - Education Officer
Sarah is responsible for liaising with youth groups, faith and state schools, especially Christian schools and organisations.
• Grew up around the UK in small villages, sometimes in a caravan
• Read Theology at Moorlands Theological College followed by an MA in Conflict, Governance and International Development at UEA
• Has worked with young people within secular and faith settings for 6 years, often focussing on nonviolence work within schools

Catherine Lewis – Primary School Linking Officer
Catherine works on the Shared Futures project supporting primary schools in linking with different faith schools forming lasting relationships and reflecting on their own identity.
• Catherine’s Irish heritage has lead to a passion for peace education and working with different communities bringing them together through dialogue and understanding.
• Teaching background and interest in international development lead to a career in Global Citizenship, as a development education officer.
• Strong connections with Cambodia and is Chair of Tabitha Foundation UK.

Amy Willshire – Secondary School Linking Officer
Amy works on the Shared Futures project, providing opportunities for continuing interaction between young people of different faiths by creating links between pairs or groups of schools with a religious charter.
• As part of her drama education degree, Amy worked in a variety of school settings including a private school, a state school and a pupil referral unit.
• Amy created a drama residency tackling religious prejudice in schools
• Amy is a Trustee for the Interfaith Network for the UK

Sophia Tillie - Project Officer: Faith and Fashion Sophia initiated the project that works with 5 traditional Muslim schools in London and Birmingham to explore issues of identity and faith from within a scriptural-based framework.
• Studied Arabic and Islamic studies at Edinburgh University.
• Lived and worked in different Schools and on a local Newspaper in Sana’a, Yemen for 2 years then went on to study under the Habaib in Dar al Zahra, Tarim, Yemen
• Continuing her studies in Arabic at the School of Oriental and African Studies.

Philip Ybring - Communications Officer
Philip is responsible for all aspects of the Three Faiths Forum's communications, including the website, newsletter and relations with the press.
• Grew up in southern Sweden.
• Studied Religion and Theology at Uppsala University and Philosophy at King’s College London
• Has a special interest in theories of ethics, politics and social change.

Miriam Feldman Kaye - Project Director

Three Faiths Forum Israel Middle East

Miriam managed the education programme and following her move to Israel in 2007 she started up the new branch of the Forum.
• Co-founded MoJoW, the Muslim-Jewish Women's Dialogue Group while studying Theology at Cambridge
• Teaches Jewish philosophy in Jerusalem
• Graduate of the London School of Jewish Studies Orthodox Women's Educator's Programme
• Working towards a PhD in Jewish Philosophy
