DocuMentors is an off-shoot programme of Undergraduate ParliaMentors, in which trios of London-based undergraduates of different faiths and beliefs are mentored by leading film-makers.

They are given access to equipment and professional editors to support them in producing their own short film.  Participants make vital contacts for future careers, gaining access to high quality equipment and training as they work on their own film.

The film made by DocuMentors 2009-10 participants, 'The Laugh Judgement', was shortlisted for a Tony Blair Faith Shorts Award. You can watch the film on YouTube.

"The UP programme is one of the best political initiatives that cater to pro-active students with a keen interest in politics and the workings of government."

“I regard my involvement in the programme as one of the high points of my undergraduate years. I made good friends, achieved something real, and showed myself as well as a class of young people that at its best, politics really does work.”
