Interfaith groups are not a new phenomenon in the UK. Many have operated successfully for years. But, for a variety of reasons, young professionals have stood back from involvement. The result is that the energy and commitment of those who set the style and pace in so many other spheres is missing in the interfaith arena. Society as a whole has been the loser. Three Faiths Forum's new initiative, Urban Dialogues, offers a chance for those who have stood aside until now to get involved in a lively and active way in interfaith activity.

Urban Dialogues events are attractive because of the

  • high quality speakers,
  • discussing relevant topics
  • opportunities to take part in shared social action

We are looking for further support for Urban Dialogues in London, as well as high-level speakers who would be appealing to all three communities. Information on future events will be released in the coming months.

This resource was written by young people, youth workers and adults from the different communities.
