Youth & Education

We facilitate Trialogue between Muslims, Christians and Jews, or people interested in those faiths. We offer an individualised programme for any group (secondary schools, colleges, universities and youth groups) and also train people to run our programmes.

Our activities help people:
  • feel more secure about their knowledge of their own religious traditions
  • feel more confident in asking questions,
  • learn how individuals understand and live their faiths.

Facilitated Programmes

Our core educational activity, Tools 4 Trialogue™, uses religious texts as the foundation for discussion. Based on the practice of Scriptural Reasoning, Tools 4 TrialogueT is an interactive encounter with scripture. Extracts from the Tanakh (Jewish), New Testament (Christian) and Qu'ran (Muslim) on a particular theme are presented side by side. Facilitators from each of the faiths help participants share their views and facilitate discussion. This programme was developed with the advice and support of Muslim, Christian and Jewish scholars and religious leaders.

Other facilitated programmes include: Y Interfaith, Skills for Dialogue and Communication, Encountering Faith and InterAction. We are now expanding into Germany and Italy, and are already running programmes in the Middle East.

Faithspace - an interfaith hub

Faithspace provides office space for new and emerging interfaith organisations at our offices in Star House, Camden . It provides a dynamic meeting place where ideas are freely discussed, challenged and refined. The hub is presently home to Interfaith Action. Our neighbour in Star House is the Anne Frank Trust UK, making it a truly inspiring place to work. If your organisation would like to know more about Faithspace please contact us.
