My time with the Three Faiths Forum
By Emily Mohr
For seven weeks I have had the opportunity to be an intern at Three Faiths Forum. I could not have imagined a better place to intern in all of London. This summer was, I believe, one of the most important times in my life, for it gave me the opportunity to see a new culture, step outside of my comfort zone, work on numerous projects and activities, meet some amazing individuals and learn about all the great work that Three Faiths Forum is doing now and what they want to accomplish in the future.
During my internship, I was fortunate enough to get involved in many projects that the organization is involved with. If one is lucky enough to spend time working or volunteering with Three Faiths, they will certainly allow you to explore your interests as well as give you the opportunity to see the totality of what their organization has to offer, which is something I was very grateful for.
The staff at Three Faiths Forum made my experience wonderful. In general it could be said that they are a diverse group of individuals who are all working for a greater cause, which has been an extremely inspiring trait. While I could spend this whole reflection just discussing the quirkiness of the staff and office, one thing that I cannot deny is that it was quite obvious that everyone at Three Faiths Forum was willing to invest in my academic and personal development, as well as any other individual who came seeking their assistance or guidance. Overall, I found that the work they were doing was meaningful and fulfilling for not just me but every individual, school and community they touched.
