Organisations invited to unite against racism
Before the general election, faith and ethnic groups are invited by the Three Faiths Forum, the Board of Deputies of British Jews and the Jewish Council for Racial Equality to add their voices against all forms of prejudice and hatred in politics by becoming signatories of an anti-racist pledge.
The pledge urges "every British citizen to use his or her vote to support any party of their choice which stands opposed to the destructive politics of hatred" and choose partnerships and hope over prejudice and fear. The pledge has already been signed by a large number of faith and community bodies and the list continues to grow.
