Former Undergraduate ParliaMentor, Rayyan Mirza, is now part of the newly formed Mentoring Alumni Committee. What began as an opportunity to benefit from the career guidance of an MP became a chance to make a bigger difference. He says:
“ I regard my involvement in the programme as one of the high points of my undergraduate years. I made good friends, achieved something real, and showed myself as well as a class of young people that at its best, politics really does work.”

In Religious Cohesion in Times of Conflict Andrew Holden presents the results and analysis of the key findings of a sociological investigation which seeks to establish the contribution that Christian-Muslim partnerships can make to community cohesion. He considers the implications of the findings for education policy and faith leadership considering the possible ways forward for Christian-Muslim relations both in Britain and in the international context.
