The Three Faiths Forum has worked to encourage dialogue and confront prejudice for more than ten years.
Our objective is to build lasting relationships between people of different faiths, cultures and communities.

Faith and Fashion in the news

Our fashion programme for young Muslim women has received quite a bit of media attention lately. During the last week we have been running workshops at the London College of Fashion where the girls have been turning their original ideas for contemporary British versions of Islamic clothing into reality. These workshops are the culmination of a yearlong process where they have been learning and thinking about questions of fashion and modesty in the context of both Islamic and Western traditions. Read all about it below.

Three Faiths Forum programme recognised by the United Nations

3FF's programme Undergraduate ParliaMentors was given international regognition by being awarded a place at this year's 'Marketplace of Ideas' at the UN's Alliance of Civilizations. The Marketplace seeks out innovative initiatives that build bridges between cultures and communities and that that may not yet have been given the international attention that they deserve.

Stephen Shashoua, 3FF Director, travelled to Rio de Janeiro to accept the award and address the forum of the Alliance of Civlizations, telling the leaders present about our work and hoping to inspire them to replicate the model in their own countries.

It is the second time 3FF has been selected to appear at the forum. At the 2009 Alliance of Civilizations in Istanbul, 3FF’s Tools 4 Trialogue programme was selected.
